About the Founder

M. Leslie Danis (Leslie Rice) is the founder and formulator behind Botanic Aromatics.

Her work grew from decades of interest in natural solutions and a personal search for practical relief when arthritis developed during pottery classes. What began as experimentation evolved into formal study in aromatherapy and disciplined small-batch formulation.

Writing under the name M. Leslie Danis, she brings a thoughtful, research-informed perspective to botanical education and product development. Her approach emphasizes integrity, clarity, and the belief that true wellness is cultivated through steady practice rather than quick fixes.
